June 2-3, 2022

Synthetic controls are widely applied to estimate the effects of policy interventions and other treatments of interests. This workshop seeks to provide an introduction to synthetic control methods for non-experts as well as an opportunity for researchers working on synthetic control methods to communicate new results, reach audiences outside their primary disciplinary fields, and seek potential collaborations. The two-day workshop will kick off with a 3-hour tutorial on synthetic control methods during the afternoon of Thursday, June 2. Friday, June 3 will be devoted to presentations and discussion of recent research contributions.

The conference is open to the public, but attendance is by registration only. You must register to attend the conference.

NOTE:  This workshop will be recorded. Video will be posted a week or so after the workshop.
All visitors must attest to being fully vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19.
Ability to social distance may not be possible.
