The Center for Statistics and Machine Learning is announcing a new graduate course this fall: SML 510 - Graduate Research Seminar.
This semester long seminar course allows graduate students the opportunity to benefit from and actively contribute to their peers’ research. Each seminar will feature graduate student presentations supported by class members; each graduate student is expected to alternately present and participate in a supporting role. Additionally, each semester, faculty and external speakers may be invited to present on broad interests in the area of statistics and machine learning.
Enrollment is by application or interview and space is limited to 12 students, so act quickly. Departmental permission is required. This course is not open to first year students.
