The Center for Statistics and Machine Learning and Microsoft are pleased to host three upcoming events in the Azure Data and ML Training Series. These events will be held in October with each of them preceded by a package of introductory videos a week before.
Azure Data and ML Training is a series of Azure-applied workshops where participants will learn the basics of cloud computing, getting started on Azure, and then move on to learn about Azure’s Data and ML tools through a tailored series of online sessions. Content is aimed at faculty, researchers and students who want to learn about Azure and gain hands on experience in managing data and leveraging Azure’s data science and machine learning tools.
The Azure workshop series are as follows. Each event listing will include course overview and details, syllabus, video links and a registration link to Eventbrite.
1. Azure 101: Cloud Basics and Getting Started. Video package released on September 29. Virtual office hours on October 6.
2. Azure Machine Learning. Video package released on October 6. Virtual live workshop on October 13.
3. Azure Data Management and Storage. Video package released on October 13. Virtual live workshop on October 20.
Participants should review the videos from Azure 101 before attending the two subsequent workshops.
Each event requires its own separate registration.
